WET WEATHER CONTINUES

As Sydney experiences another period of heavy and ongoing wet weather, we ask that everyone who visits our cemeteries use extreme caution and if possible delay visiting their loved ones until the conditions improve.

Unfortunately, the wet weather is also hindering our Cemetery Services teams from maintaining lawns and graves to their usual high standard. At the moment, the wet ground can be unstable for equipment and staff and regular maintenance is not possible. Once it is safe and practicable we will re-commence our regular mowing and maintenance cycles across all cemetery areas.

While we understand the appearance of our burial areas is important to family and friends, the safety of visitors and staff must come first.

We thank you for your continued patience and apologise for any inconvenience caused as we prepare to return our cemeteries to their usual standards of care.
