Peter Michael O’Meara – 18 May 1956 – 06 June 2023
The Catholic Cemeteries + Crematoria family is deeply saddened by the loss of Peter O’Meara, former CEO who passed away on 6 June 2023.
Peter was a highly respected and inspirational leader at Catholic Cemeteries + Crematoria for over a decade and his extraordinary legacy will continue to benefit generations of Sydneysiders and their families.
Peter was a devoted husband of forty-one years to Christine. Much loved father of Liam and Caitlin, and father-in-law of Dani. Adored poppy to Thomas. Much loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle, friend, and colleague to many.
A Requiem Mass for the eternal repose of the soul of Peter, will be offered at the Mary, Mother of Mercy Chapel, Rookwood Catholic Cemetery, Barnet Avenue, Rookwood, on Saturday 17 June 2023 June at 11am.
At the conclusion of the service Peter will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery grounds.
