Rookwood offers three type of burial options depending on your preference, including Lawn Graves, Monumental Lawns, and Monumental Section Graves.

Burial Lawns are also grouped by community or cultural groups or families can choose a crypt in Rookwood's landscaped grounds or within the inspiring and modern Mausoleum of the Resurrection.

Special Sections have also been dedicated to children including cremated memorials in the Holy Innocents Crypts.

    This centrally located traditional niche wall is adjacent to the Crown of Thorns outdoor chapel and overlooks the rose garden, with easy access to carpark.

    COLUMBARIUM, MAUSOLEUM OF THE RESURRECTION, ROOKWOOD

    These marble columbarium niches are located on the upper level of the Mausoleum. Visitors can enjoy quiet reflection in the chapel or by the reflective pool, and a family mass is celebrated monthly.

    Centrally located in the heart of the Catholic cemetery, there are three walls within a contemporary religious building that has easy access from the carpark.

    ST MICHAEL OF THE ARCHANGEL CHAPEL, ROOKWOOD

    A stunning example of Gothic Revival-style architecture, built in 1890. Situated in the older and quieter part of the cemetery it is imbued with the historic funerary tradition, surrounded by lawns of monumental headstones. It is the perfect setting for the ritual of the burial rites. Chapel Features:
